I put this up on Instagram earlier, but here’s a higher-resolution look at it. My friend Scott and I were clearing some old junk out of his attic today, stuff that was helpfully left behind by previous owners of his house. We came across this newspaper, stuffed as a liner in the bottom of an old tea-chest that someone had used as a moving box. Of all the forgettable subjects that make up front-page news on any random day, it amused me that this one was such a genuinely significant event. (Bigger on flickr.)
