So has anyone else noticed Twitter for Mac missing tweets? At first I thought it was something to do with @-mentions (as opposed to @replies), but it’s not that, as this screenshot shows.

Twitter for Mac uses User Streams, while all mobile clients use REST. (A few other desktop clients use User Streams as well.) The streams themselves might be having some problems. I noticed a retweet from someone whose retweets I had blocked.

I noticed the same yesterday when I posted a tweet from Twitter for iOS but it never showed up on Twitter for Mac, even after several hours and a few refreshes.

Have noticed the same. Can’t think why it’d happen, though, unless Twitter’s trying to be smart and collate the replies / timeline and is doing it badly. Which would something you’d think they’d test for.
