Internet Swag Day!
Arrived home to find these sitting on my doormat. The first is a copy of Ghostbusters: The Video Game on the Xbox 360, which isn’t out here in the UK (it’s a PS3 exclusive in Europe), so that’s pretty cool. A friend of mine on a forum sold me his Canadian copy after finishing the game.
It’s nowhere near as cool, however, as my awesome postcard from Tony Delgrosso, superstar author, Internet geek fashion icon, and Twitter raconteur par excellence. This is my first experience of receiving post cards from Tumblr people; I rate it “A+++ would do so again”. He also has extremely nice penmanship.
In answer to your question, Tony, yes, I really have heard all the jokes about my name; even the really good one from Microsoft (yes, that is about me).
I’m going to have a go at this sending-postcards thing in a few weeks when stuff has calmed down in my personal life. It’s really cool.
