Also, “such a consecutive sequence will never happen again”? What about 05:06:07 08/09/10 then? And why is this sequence any more significant than any other datetime chosen at random? It isn’t. It feels significant for the same reason coincidences do: as humans we seek out patterns even where there are none.
Once, this skill allowed us to pick out the sounds of an approaching predator over the background noise of the environment, or deduce that crops grow better when they are irrigated. Now, they mostly just make people believe in horoscopes and other Forer Effect peddled nonsense.
